Dr. Wu graduated from the University of California, Berkeley majoring in Molecular and Cell Biology in 2004. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from UC Berkeley School of Optometry in 2008. Dr. Wu then completed one year of Contact Lens Fellowship at the Jules Stein Eye Institute (David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA). During her training, she routinely fit specialty contacts for patients with keratoconus, post-LASIK ectasia, post-corneal transplant, corneal scarring, and aphakic babies. Dr. Wu has a passion for helping patients with irregular corneal conditions by using specialty lenses to enhance their potential vision and quality of life. She has over twelve years of clinical experience and enjoys providing personalized eye care to each patient.
She is Glaucoma certified and completed her clinical rotation training at the Portland VA Medical Center, New Mexico VA Medical Center and the Omni Eye Services in New Jersey.
Dr. Wu is a Fellow of the Academy of Optometry and a Fellow of the Scleral Lens Society. Dr. Wu was a recipient of the “2018 Young Optometrist of the Year” Award from California Optometric Association. Outside of the office, Dr. Wu enjoys family time with her toddler son and her husband, running, singing and trying new restaurants.
