Dr. Lally graduated from Georgetown University and received her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her residency in ophthalmology at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital and received advanced training in the medical and surgical management of cataracts, corneal disease, oculoplastics, glaucoma, neuro-ophthalmology, pediatrics, and retina. She completed a Medical Retina Fellowship at Duke University Medical Center where she studied under Dr. Scott Cousins, a leading expert in the field.
Dr. Lally specializes in macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, macular edema, retinal vein occlusion, cataracts and cataract surgery. She has numerous publications, first-authored book chapters and actively participates in clinical research trials.
When not practicing ophthalmology, Dr. Lally enjoys mountaineering, running, bicycling, travel and spending time with family. She has summited numerous alpine peaks throughout the world, including Mount Everest in 2011.
